Gesturek Mobile, the world leader in gesture based technology, and TiltnTwist, a gestured based mobile games company, have joined forces in creating a small line of games for the whole family on a Windows Mobile platform.

TiltnTwist recommends that you shouldn't bother with buttons or joysticks as the easier way is to switch to motion controlled games for not only are they more fun, but also create lesser inconveniences, only body or hand gestures being required.

Shortly, these games will be available in most of the handsets on the market and Robert Goodale, co-founder of TiltnTwist, believes that this type of amusement should be in reach for all mobile users and appreciates that such titles are not only for experienced gamers or children, but for the entire family.

Francis MacDougall, co-founder of Gesture Tech, declared about their partnership with TiltnTwist that “By using GestureTek Mobile’s optical tracking solution for their Windows Mobile games, TiltnTwist has positioned itself to unleash the power of gesture-driven interaction to mobile users worldwide”.

In HyperHamster, which will be available shortly, you join Captain Weevil, a small hamster and control a rolling ball using only your hand gestures. In order to maneuver the hamster, you must move the phone, drift left and right, jump and roll around to pass through each of the maps. You can also go faster or slower with one easy gesture or jump over obstacles by shaking the phone.

Snowboarding TNT, already available, boasts excellent 3D graphics quality and allows you to snowboard using only simple gestures over nine courses to perform many tricks and pass over obstacles or through gates in order to complete each level. As you evolve, you can speed up or receive scores that will certainly make you proud.

Drop zone, also available at the moment, gives thrilling experiences through its great 3D graphics and its amazing point of view while you are skydiving, dropping through balloon rings and hitting certain ground points for high scores. There are ten air maps available and your skills are really put to the test by this game.

And last, DUI:The long drive home is a game that shows you what would happen if you partied too hard or just drank too much. It offers five adventures in which, the main character, Humphrey, goes to places where he cannot stop drinking and then has a really hard time trying to get back home. Some of the ten challenges Humphrey has to overcome are getting in the car, driving on the right lane and others, but the most important is passing the sobriety test. This game is the kind you must truly struggle to reach high scores and it’s definitely one of the funniest ever.
