Incidents in which credit cards are cloned and misused are not uncommon these days. One of the latest companies that has fallen victim to fraudsters is a Tilted Kilt restaurant in San Antonio, Texas.

According to Kens5, the establishment’s representatives are advising customers to check their bank accounts for signs of misuse after hackers breached their computers and stole credit card details.

Almost immediately after the US Secret Services alerted the pub on the fact that fraudulent charges had been made on the East coast, the company went to the press to make sure that all their clients were aware of the potential dangers.

Furthermore, Tilted Kilt replaced its computers, credit card systems and even the cash register to prevent future incidents.

As we’ve said, credit card fraud is not something out of the ordinary, but it’s good to know that there are companies that take the necessary measures to protect their customers.
