14 DAY TRIAL // Tiger Woods’ marriage to Elin Nordegren might have ended very badly for him, if we’re to believe reports online, but it looks like his luck in love might be changing. He and skier Lindsey Vonn are getting closer and spending more time together, word has it.
As we also reported earlier this month, after the accident Vonn suffered in Austria, Woods sent her his private jet to fly out of the country.
This seemed to confirm ongoing reports that the two were more than just good friends or associates. Now, People magazine writes that the two are very smitten with each other.
“Tiger and Lindsey have been friends for a while, and nothing started out romantically at all. But they really have a lot in common and got closer and closer,” an insider says for the celebrity publication.
“He still refers to her as ‘my very good friend,’ but he's been spending more and more time talking to her – and talking about her,” adds the source.
According to the report, the two are in close contact, discovering with each new day just how much they like spending time together.
“Tiger really does want a woman who he can have good conversations with. He wants shared interests and outlooks. He is finding that with [Lindsey],” says the source, who also explains the two are constantly texting and calling each other.
Moreover, Lindsey is ok with Woods’ past, including with knowing that it was serial cheating which ruined his marriage to Elin. He’s done the crime and done the time, as far as she’s concerned.
“She's not freaked out by his past, and that's really appealing to him. He really does deserve to be happy. He has been flogging himself for three years, and it's good to see him moving forward,” says the unnamed source.
