But you should avoid it

According to The Inquirer web site, Mac OS X 10.4 is already online and it can be downloaded from the BitTorrent web sites.

The news didn't cause any sensation considering that several versions of the system have been already available on warez sites and peer-to-peer networks shortly after the announcement of the system. However, Apple didn't watch helplessly as their operating system is being downloaded and sued several sources that illegally provided the system.

But this time, a large number of Internet surfers is already downloading the system which is no longer a beta version, but the Tiger GM version, available in stores a week from now, on April 29.

The same source that announced the availability of the system in the BitTorrent network also suggests that this can be a strategy to deviate the attention of the company lawyers from the legal actions taken against journalists.

Downloading this version is not recommended considering that you might end up being sued which will make you lose your interest in Apple and Tiger. You should know that nowadays, record companies and movie studios are chasing and sanctioning pirate Internet surfers. And if this doesn't happen to you, the so called official version that you downloaded from the Internet could be full of bugs. And in the end, after you install the system, you might have to resuscitate your computer.
