The frog got too close to the rocket launch which put the LADEE probe into space

NASA's LADEE moon probe launched last week, on its way to study the thin atmosphere around our sister body, but it seems that it wasn't the only one headed to space that day.

A photo of the launch shows a frog close to the launch site giving new meaning to the phrase "flying leap."

The frog happened to be too close to the launch pad and the massive blast from the Minotaur V rocket sent it flying. No one knows what happened to it after the its flight, perspective makes it hard to determine the height the frog reached.

But maybe it was lucky and it landed back down safely, assuming it wasn't too close to the burning gases. In fact, who's to say that this wasn't some thrill-seeking frog who knew exactly what it was doing.
