Save up to £70 on PAYG handsets and up to £5 on pay monthly phones

UK-based carrier Three has just announced its January sale ahead of Christmas that includes important discounts on PAYG (pay as you go) and pay monthly lineup of smartphones.

 

The promotion is set to kick-off on December 22 and will run through January 2012. Three has yet to announce the exact date when the promotion ends.

 

Although the carrier does not offer discounts on all devices in its portfolio there are a few good deals that customers can take advantage of beginning this Thursday.

 

For example, Three UK slashed £70 (110 USD or 83 EUR) off the Samsung Galaxy W original price, which means customer will be able to purchase the smartphone for only £179.99 (280 USD or 215 EUR) PAYG.

 

The carrier offers the same £70 (110 USD or 83 EUR) discount on HTC ChaCha, which can be purchase for just £129.99 (205 USD or 155 EUR) on PAYG.

 

Another discounted device available on PAYG is the HTC Explorer, which is now priced at £119.99 (187 USD or 145 EUR), £10 (15 USD or 12 EUR) cheaper than the original price.

 

Smartphones will continue to be the must-have gadget in 2012 so we’re keen to give customers a head start in the New Year with the best phones on the most affordable price plans,” said Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three.

 

Furthermore, customers can choose one of the three Android-powered smartphones discounted on pay monthly, the Samsung Galaxy W, Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S or the HTC Sensation.

 

Those who choose the Galaxy W or the HTC Sensation will save as much as £5 a month, while customers that opt for the Xperia arc S save only £3 a month.
