Given the fact that USB 3.0 (or SuperSpeed USB, if you prefer) is set to virtually explode over the course of 2011, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that many companies are trying to get in on this potentially hugely lucrative bandwagon, this also being the case with Team Group, who's just launched a trio of mainstream-oriented USB 3.0 flash drives. The first model in the series, namely the C101 sports a push-and-pull extending design, making sure users don't lose the protective cap, and is available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB flavors, while also featuring a very good level of portability, since it measures 54.1mm x 22.5mm x 9.1mm.

The devices also offer read read speeds of up to 54 MB/sec, as well as some pretty OK write speeds, namely up to 15MB/sec for the 8GB version and up to 30MB/sec for the 16GB and 32GB flavors.

Next in line comes the Color Turn U3 flash drive, featuring a silver satin finish to avoid fingerprints, as well as an ergonomic rotation mechanism that makes it easy to store.

The Color Turn U3 offers the same storage capacities as the C101 and exactly the same transfer rates, the only major difference being (beside the design, of course) represented by its dimensions, namely 55mm x 17mm x 9.1mm.

Last, but certainly not least, comes the F108 USB 3.0 flash drive from Team Group, a compact and colorful flash drive that sports metal sandblasting and anodizing, while measuring 59mm x 17.7mm x 7.7mm, which makes it one of the most compact and and portable devices of this type available out there.

Unfortunately, Team Group has not provided any details regarding the possible pricing and/or availability for these drives, but we certainly hope to find out more details on this topic in the near future.
