Even as it keep promoting its mobile solutions and gaining headway as far as the smartphone market goes, Samsung decided to unleash a new trio of business monitors, dubbed the 650 Series.

There are many things that Samsung deals in, being on of those companies with a multi-faceted product portfolio.

As it happens, it has been doing great on the smartphone market, succeeding in outdoing former leader Nokia and getting second place worldwide in terms of shipments.

In the meantime, the outfit has been seeing to all its other business outlets, not the least of which is the display industry.

In this case, it is not some new, consumer-oriented item that has made the news, but a line dedicated to business users and fashioned accordingly.

Name 650 Series, it is, at the moment, composed of three SyncMaster 6 models with support for the Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) image quality.

Dubbed S24A650D and S24A650S and S27A650D, the first two measure 24 inches in diagonal, while the third is of 27 inches.

All three of them boast a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, plus built-in proximity and ambient light sensors, which lets them adjust the LED backlighting for higher energy efficiency.

Furthermore, Samsung implemented DVI, D-Sub and DisplayPort video outputs, plus a brightness of 250 cd/m2 or 300 cd/m2. The S24A650S even has an USB hub.

Other specifications include a response time of 8ms and a stand with height, swivel and tilt adjustments, allowing for the panel to even stay upright when needed.

Finally, all three feature the MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) technology and matte black, thin bezels.

Already available for pre-order, the S24A650D, S24A650S and S27A650D have recommended price tags of 319 Euro, 329 Euro and 399 Euro, respectively, although product listings have them at as low as €272.64, €309.04 and €291.28.
