They're pretty brightly colored, except for the Black Edition obviously

Gigabyte has introduced three new motherboards, or at least formally revealed them in anticipation of their availability. They're pretty powerful too.

Not that it's surprising, mind you. They are based on the Z97 chipset after all.

The add-in board and memory support, as well as the standard storage and I/O capabilities, can easily enough be spotted in the photo gallery below, but I'll point out what stands out the most.

The motherboards (which haven't been priced yet) are called Z97X-UD5H BK (Black Edition), the Z97X-UD7 TH, and Z97X-SOC Force. The last one is the one made for crazy overclocking runs.

All of them have three PCI Express x16 slots (four on the SOC), one SATA Express connector, four DDR3 memory slots, 7.1 channel audio, and Gibgabit Ethernet.

The boards also support SATA 6.0 Gbps storage (two ports on the Z97X-SOC, four on the other two), and the UD7 TH and SOC Force get Killer E2200 NIC Wi-Fi as well (prioritizes online games when dividing bandwidth).

Finally, the Z97X-UD5H BK has an M.2 connector (10 Gbps), while the Z97X-UD7 TH gets Thunderbolt 2 support (20 Gbps). As for endurance, the Ultra Durable design is used all around.
