Unless you'd prefer a bedpan, but that's doubtful at best

Weird things come out of labs all the time, but technology can get awkward sometimes, and now I am looking at something that will definitely qualify as awkward unless you're alone in the room with it.

Basically, Toro has come up with a fully functional toilet that can follow you around wherever you go.

Sure, it might be tricky to get it down or up the stairs, but barring that, it's actually pretty mobile, like anything else on wheels.

Normally, patients that can't move around much would use a bedpan, unless they're in intensive care and have tubes everywhere.

This toilet is much cleaner and convenient to use though, and even has a built-in deodorizer.

The extra unit at the back of the toilet “blends” the waste. When you're ready to empty it, you can do so through the included small pipe.

The price of the Toro Bedside Flushable Toilet is $5,500 / €5,500.
