Well, sort of, but the beam is actually two beams colored blue, not red

Props are all well and good, but when it comes to superheroes it takes lots of special effects to make everything come alive on the big screen. That didn't stop designer AnselmoFanZero from making Cyclops-style goggles though.

Well, technically they're not all they're cracked up to be, because the designer had to take into account the distinct lack of x-genes in our DNA.

There are no people that shoot lasers from their eyes. So, in order to not just make a quirky-looking visor, the designer had to integrate laser capabilities in the goggles too.

So instead of an eye band meant to block eye beams until triggered otherwise, we have some goggles that emit lasers. Bright, white-blue, scorching lasers that actually set paper on fire and pop black balloons.

It's a good thing that it's too dangerous to be out for sale, even though the effect doesn't match what Cyclops could actually do in the comics (he shot red bursts of kinetic force, not heat beams, movies notwithstanding).

The goggle set is wink-activated, so in a way it's even better than what Cyclops had. Or a lot more risky, since he would have probably fried the skin off his girlfriend (later wife) whenever they joked together.
