It is customizable and can be arranged either as a straight or a curved structure

Here, on our side of the technology market, we don't hear about concrete much, but there are some rare cases where the material shows up. This is one of those.

The one completely responsible for the existence of the Thorax is German designer Rafael Cichy. It was his idea that a system would look great if it were made out of concrete.

We have to admit it actually does look rather well. The different cross sections (O-, E- or C-shaped) can come together in straight or curved shapes, and their combinations determine what function the media system can fulfill.

The E-section, for example, has three storage levels, but the C-section is more useful with taller equipment.

The inter-connectors come in different lengths, enabling the shape malleability we have mentioned.

You'll need $500 for the most basic set-up (387-500 Euro), and a lot of muscle to move these things.
