We've seen our share of video/display walls, but most of them, 3D or otherwise, are there to show video and images, not to allow people to interact with cyberspace.

MultiTouch LTD figured it may do what it's best at: build a nice and large display with multi-touch support.

Alas, since no one makes displays beyond a certain size, it had to settle for putting “smaller” ones side-by-side and on top of each other.

The result, as can be seen in the video up there, was a wall with twenty-four 55-inch MultiTaction Cell Full HD screens (1920 x 1080 pixels each), a combined resolution of 50 megapixels and a gesture tracking rate of 200 frames per second (very high).

That said, the wall can accommodate an unlimited number of touch points and concurrent users.
