You'll have to jump and bounce to get the buttons to work, though

If you thought your PS3 or Xbox controller was big, you probably never saw the one in that video up there.

Built by students Benjamin Allen, Stephen van't Hof and Michel Verhulst, the huge thing entered the Guiness Book of World Records, after it was demonstrated at London's Liverpool Street Station.

Measuring 366 cm x 159 cm x 51 cm (12ft x 5ft 3 in x 1ft 8 in), it weighs no less than 265 pounds (120.20 kilos). That's 30 times bigger than a NES controller.

It makes you wonder how they managed to haul that gamepad all the way there.

In case you were wondering, the controller is supposed to be hopped and jumped on, since there doesn't seem to be any other way of using it.

The students built the thing in five months and spent a total of £4,000 ($6,290 / 4,761 Euro).

And no, there probably aren't any plans for mass production, even though something like this does give multiplayer a brand new meaning.
