It definitely fits the concept of all-in-one to a T, even more than school desks

Depending on what school you go to, you might be familiar with those all-in-one desks that have the chair and tabletop fused together in some way or another.

The new chair made by New York-based Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects follows a similar concept, only it is an all in-one chair not all-in-one desk.

Basically, the back rest is bend at a 90 degree angle, providing a section parallel with the ground.

What's more, said back rest is supported by a single metal beam, located to the far side of the seat.

That is what permits owners to sit down facing the so-called backrest, should they wish to make use of the ”table” there.

The ledge is only 8 inches wide, but it is big enough to hold a snack bowl or book.

What's more, it's easy to connect two chairs together and make the “table” twice as large.
