What might be the absolute coolest optical illusion ever is now on display at the Miami Art Show in New York City, US.

The work of art, created by one Patric Hughes, isn't exactly what some would call complex, at least not as far as composition goes.

Au contraire, the artwork only shows three peculiar structures that kind of resemble a brick wall, a pair of doors, and a tent of sorts.

What's cool about this painting is the fact that, depending on where you stand when you look at it, these structures constantly change.

More precisely, they appear to lift off the image and acquire a body of their own. Thus, looking at this painting is like walking past a real view.

Check out the video below to see for yourself how this work of art behaves when the person staring at it changes their position.

Fair warning, you might feel the need to book at appointment with a neurologist or at least an eye doctor after watching this footage.

The painting's actual name is a mystery. People on Reddit, however, are calling it the “impossible 3D painting,” and rightfully so.

“My brain hurts!” somebody commented on the experience of staring at this artwork. “Obviously witchcraft,” another Redditor added.
