There are no spare parts for the eyes, no matter how much you are (ironically) looking for. There comes a time when a good investment would help save infinitely more and this is the case with displays. Well, Benq comes with a handy solution that will comfort both your eyes and the budget.

Benq's FP93VW is a 19-inch display that doesn't miss the fashion aspect of a product. With a glossy white finish, the display would be love at first sight for the iPod fans. The white polished exterior gets even more exciting, because the FP93VW can pull out of the hood a 1440 x 900 (WSXGA+) resolution with an ultra-fast response time of 5 milliseconds, that is sure to deliver an extremely crisp image for all the types of content, as well as reduced ghosting and distortions of moving images. The resolution should suffice for two applications using the desktop at the same time, while the wide screen prevents any image distortion or clipping.

The controls are placed vertically on the left side of the panel, which can be a little annoying, especially if your ex-display had the controls placed on the right, as the majority does. The basic options are simple to navigate, but you'd better be quick, as the pop-up disappears in a blink of an eye. The monitor's base has a cable management solution built in, which allows both the signal and the power cables to be kept out of the user's sight.

The Benq FP93VW comes both with the standard 15-pin D-sub VGA connector as well as with the DVI-D input, to maximize compatibility with the multimedia devices likely to be found at home or in the office. The connectors are placed on the back of the LCD panel.

Don't expect to find built-in speakers, as high-end models include. For the $220 fair price, you get a clear, wide image in a stylish frame.
