They are supposedly compatible with any weird cooling designs

Normally, cold plates, and really all water cooling components, have very specific functions, and usually can't be used interchangeably between CPUs, GPUs, or whatever else.

Indeed, many are actually made specifically for a small group of products, or just one graphics card.

Koolance decided it was time to launch the opposite: some new general-purpose cold plates that can be used in LED arrays, Peltier elements, image sensors, specialized semiconductor cooling, etc.

The newcomers come in three sizes: 25mm x 25mm (PLT-UN25F, $63/€63), 40mm x 40mm (PLT-UN40F, $70/€70 or so) and 50mm x 50mm (PLT-UN50F $78/€78).

All of them are made from several materials. The base is constructed out of nickel-plated copper, while the top is made of nickel-plated brass and the e-ring from EPDM.

A 0.5mm microfin internal structure is used by them all.
