Breaking up with someone is without a doubt a dreadful experience. Especially if you're the kind of person who doesn't like confrontations and your significant other has no idea what's coming their way.

On the bright side, there's a new online service that, in exchange for a measly fee, will do your dirty work for you. All you have to do is pay up and then patiently wait to be single once again.

The Australia-based service, dubbed Sorry It's Over, asks just $4.44 (€3.9) to send your soon-to-be ex a text message or an e-mail telling them that it's all over between the two of you.

They're even willing to call them, maybe throw in a box of chocolates or some other sympathy gift, should you feel like spending a wee more cash on the perfect breakup experience.

Mind you, people who turn to Sorry It's Over to say goodbye to a lover can even choose between sending a more heartfelt, personalized message or a generic and not so emotional one.

“Hi. I am writing on behalf of [...]. Although [...] cares and respects you he is afraid to confront you,” reads one of these generic breakup texts and emails.

Furthermore, “[...] believes your relationship has run its course. Everything happens for a reason.” Just fill in the blanks with your name and Sorry It's Over will make sure your message is delivered.

True, this online service can't promise you that your ex doesn't contact you to give you a piece of their mind. Then again, it looks like a whole lot of people are now turning to it to end their relationships.
