It uses the e-sports appearance and aims for gamers and enthusiasts

Since gaming systems always need good-looking cases, unless buyers decide they like understated looks better, companies like Thermaltake periodically launch such things, like the Chaser A71 in this case.

Thermaltake won't quite be competing with Gigabyte's Luxo K10 and IF 400 enclosures, even though they are both made for gaming PCs.

While the products are, sure enough, made for high-end PCs, they are mid-towers, not full towers, so they aren't meant for the same customer base.

Indeed, the Chaser A71 is a full-tower enclosure with more than enough 5.25-inch and 2.5-inch/2.5-inch bays.

The number of expansion slots is high as well (eight apparently), which makes sure all sorts of multi-GPU setups are possible, even with a high-end sound or network board on the side.

Sure, the number of potential add-in cards will ultimately depend on the motherboard, but the chassis has the room, which is all that matters.

There are a bunch of fans on the inside too: three 200 mm models (front, top and side mounted) and a 120 mm spinner at the back.

Everything is held in an e-sports appearance. The design is inspired by the motion picture Tron, with light strips accenting the front 5.25-inch Brackets. Blue LEDs shine from the fans too.

As for connectivity, there is the expected set of USB and audio ports at the top, as well as the less than expected hard disk drive docking station that can accept 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard disk drive units.

Furthermore, a tray is present, allowing mobile phones, mp3 players, digital camera or any other portable gadget to be stored while using the PC.

Finally, in addition to the space for extra-long graphics cards, Chaser A71 makes it easy to install high-end water cooling systems with 240mm radiators. CPU overclocking is, thus, made safe and easy. No price is known for now, unfortunately.
