Can it be done?

One of the biggest problems for game producers and consoles alike are the hackers. Their only occupation sometimes is to circumvent the hardworking protection that a team of experts has installed on a specific system or game.

An Xbox engineer, by the name of Chris Satchell, claims that Xbox will have levels of encryption and security that "the hacker community has never seen before". Either he is very good or he is the most naive engineer I have ever seen.

But he couldn't have stopped there. He also claimed that if someone, by some miracle, would manage to crack the console, it WILL NOT WORK on somebody else's machine, mainly because of the way it's built.

Personally I believe that's like painting a bullseye and inviting everyone: "Please take your best shot!"
