Rudy? the trashcan robot

If the researchers created a trashcan robot named Rudy, a speaking machine that follows you around and is happy when you throw garbage at it, then the fact that a violin can now play beautifully by itself comes as no surprise.

Furthermore, the self-playing violin named Virtuoso will make its debut soon in a concert that will take place in Sidney. If you want it, you will have to spend no less than $17,500.

But the offstage is the world of our 'precious' Rudy, a robot that will soon become a girl's or a bachelor's best friend, because it is a go-after-you robo-trashcan developed by the Florida Robotics Institute.

Rudy is the result of no less than 20 years of research in both functional and promotional robots. Therefore, little Rudy is a full-featured robot which can be moved around using a remote control, as it also sports a cup controller with built-in FM wireless microphone and digital voice effects, and a pitch shifter which enables you to talk to the robot and move it anywhere you please.

But this is not all, your Rudy has voice synchronized ear lights and automatic battery charger, so you won't talk and clean anymore by yourself. Also, important info for the ladies - it's scratch resistant and very easy to clean.

Rudy has already been shipped on the worldwide retail market, but if you want to buy it, it may be a good idea to contact the Florida-based researchers.
