One lovely iPod dock

The iBoo is one great start for anyone who's afraid of ghosts; and if you thought that Casper was the only friendly and funny apparition from the ethereal worlds, you should definitely meet iBoo. iBoo is one dock/speaker system for the ubiquitous iPod, shaped like a ghost but with a very friendly look and being thus suitable for kids as well. If you were looking for an iPod dock looking less tech-ish than what we all have been used to see lately, the iBoo is the best choice. And if you're a Pac-Man fan, addict or simply nostalgic, you'll surely enjoy its (ripped-off) design.

While the ghosts from Pac-Man were completely evil, the iBoo has nothing scary about it. With its big black eyes with silver lining and amused childish smile, this ghost won't scare anyone; well, if you're having a nightmare and wake up with the iBoo at your bedside you might be a little scared, but nothing serious.

The iBoo is available in three nifty color variations, blue, red and white, and thanks to its timeless design you'll be able to integrate it in almost any décor, whether we're talking about your bedroom, your kids' room, your kitchen, or even your office (if you're allowed to have this kind of fun, that is). This docking station is loaded with some serious sound features as it boasts a 9W RMS down-firing subwoofer complemented by a dual 3W stereo driver array for a wide sound stage and a pleasant listening experience.

You'll also get a wireless mini remote control for the basic functions, while the iBoo has an auxiliary input, letting you hook it up with other MP3 players, CD players, gaming consoles, TV and many other sound sources. Too bad the iBoo has no fancy lighting effects – this could have meant a very cool feature adding a lot of points on the visual side. Nevertheless, we're happy with the iBoo as it is, especially since it comes at a fairly decent price of $90.
