If last week hasn't been extraordinary for PC games, starting from today, things are different.

Close Combat: First to Fight, a tactical shooter, developed both for entertainment and to serve as a training platform for US Marine Corps, will be in stores and it will distributed by 2K Games/Take Two Interactive. The game is developed by Destineer and will also include a multi player component.

It took four years for Psychonauts to appear on the market. The game is developed by Tin Schafer, ex Lucas Arts, who contributed to games like Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle. Psychonauts is an adventure game with lots of humor and a weird design and concept, all in all a fun game to play.

Splinter Cell has now a competitor: Stolen, distributed by Hip Games, a game whose main character, Anya Romanov will have to carry out missions with the help of high tech gadgets. Considering that the developing studio: Blue 52 has just retreated from business, it will be interesting to see how the game will manage on the market.

For those who are in love with the Middle Age, this week brings Stronghold 2 from Firefly Studios, the sequel of the 3D game Stronghold. Like its predecessor, everything is focused on the castle which has to be built, developed and defended.

RPG lovers will enjoy Dungeon Lords from Heuristic Park, distributed by Dreamcatcher, which combines RPG elements with action and fighting. Dungeon Lords will have seven races and four types of magic.

In conclusion, a week rich in titles that await your appraisal.
