Lara Croft in action

With only a few days before E3 Expo, Eidos and Crystal Dynamics have published the first the first trailer of Tomb Raider Legend.

Except from some screenshots and a 3D model posted on the official site, this is the first chance of seeing Lara Croft in action.

From the video clip, one can easily see the Lara Croft proposed by Crystal Dynamics is much more spectacular. The heroine moves much smoother through the backgrounds of this series. Lara will also ride a motorcycle, and the game studio included in the trailer some scenes that look a lot like Matrix Revolutions.

Besides this aspect, many of Lara's moves and actions seem to be borrowed from Trinity and we can only hope there won't be a Neo to outshine her.

The video clip also emphasizes some new moves: going under obstacles by sliding, and a series of jumps to avoid traps. The backgrounds will greatly vary, and it's clear she will once again take a trip through the jungle, but she will also journey to a building under construction from a metropolis.

The enemies Lara will have to face, have been also improved and move now as spectacular as she does.

We hope to have a demo as soon as possible to find more details.
