Samsung Telecommunications America has recently announced the availability of the P207 model, the first EDGE phone having VoiceMode technology provided by VoiceSignal. This speech-to-text input solution will provide users the flexibility and simplicity for voice messages compared to a difficult keyboard, which requires a certain skill and a longer time interval.

This P207 points out the distancing of the Korean producer from other competitors regarding innovations associated to cell phones. So, in a very short time, Samsung managed to offer numerous services very useful to consumers.

The careful and elegant design of the P207 is noticed through a sober line and a black case as required by the high-tech fashion, but its main advantage is related to the new way of introducing data. The replacement of the keyboard with a simple and efficient method was highly appreciated by those who got their hands on Samsung Telecommunication's latest invention.

The phone includes a dictionary, and the user has to "teach" the phone words and expressions, so that the software installed on the phone recognizes the voice. After the calibration of the phone, the user can dictate the first message. If the VoiceMode solution is used often, it will adapt better to the user's voice.

The P207 model includes connectivity to the high speed network EDGE, a photo/video VGA camera, MP3 ring tones, and the messaging is sustained by chat or multimedia wireless.
