Microsoft has unveiled new devices at E3, expanding its wireless line of Xbox 360 cross-platform game peripherals with the introduction of the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.

Gamers will be able to use the Universal Serial Bus (USB) wireless receiver with Windows XP- or Windows Vista-based computers to enjoy racing games, sports games and other titles that work best with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel.

As Logitech released just yesterday its advanced racing wheel, Microsoft launched today, during the same event, a new steering wheel that will be released on the retail market along with "Forza Motorsports 2".

Next peripheral is the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset which features the same design as the modern Bluetooth cellphone headsets, but, unfortunately it is not Bluetooth compatible.

The last released was the Eyetoy Xbox Live Vision Camera, a camera which will allow the user to customize the gaming experience, adding personal face features to games.

Today's announcements follow the release of the company's first cross-platform controller: the wired Xbox 360 Controller for Windows that shipped in fall 2005.
