But nothing is certain

Four million fans are holding their breath for the first World of Warcraft add-on, in which there will be new spells, objects and characters.

The only problem is that there isn't an exact date for the add-on's release and Blizzard hasn't announced anything official. The only clue about its fate was provided recently by one of WoW's game designers, Shawn Carnes, who said that somewhere towards the end of 2006, the fans could have a new add-on.

Blizzard only said that Shawn Cranes's statement expressed in the interview for GamersGod represents his own opinion, not the company's official position.

Still, the fans are hoping that Blizzard will be merciful enough to make an official announcement at BlizzCon, which should take place in November, and find out some details and perhaps even a launching date for this add-on.
