Even though Alienware gave up on the idea, Clevo didn't

When we wrote about Alienware's newest product upgrades, we also mentioned how the M11x had been scrapped.

That was the smallest gaming laptop of the series, at 11 inches in screen diagonal.

Now, we learn that the world won't be left completely bereft of a small but mighty gaming machine.

Clevo has come up with just that very sort of machine, although you might never hear of it.

That's because Clevo isn't going to sell it under its own brand. Instead, the notebook will be rebadged by such companies as Maingear, Eurocom, Origin, XoticPC and Mythlogic.

And now we finally reached the point where we give the specs, starting with the CPU.

Obviously, an Ivy Bridge chip is used, as well as a discrete graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M Kepler, 2 GB GDDR3) and lots of RAM (16 GB DDR3).

A 2.5-inch HDD provides the storage (320 GB or more, depending on brand) and there are all sorts of network and I/O ports too.

As for the LCD, it makes do with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The starting price is $800 / 603 Euro.
