Now that he's earned a place in ladies' hearts as the handsome man who could be both charming and witty in sitcoms, and in men's hearts for his comedic skills, Bradley Cooper is moving on to more solid ground.

“The Words” sees him play a hapless writer who, lacking the inspiration to meet the deadline and finish his latest project, turns to the oldest and cheapest trick in the book: he appropriates someone else's novel, after he finds a manuscript in an old suitcase.

Trouble doesn't really start until the man who wrote that manuscript years back comes in to claim his right, leaving Cooper's character with a huge dilemma: tell the truth and reveal himself to the world as a fraud, or continue lying despite the new developments.

A second trailer for the film is above and, unlike the previous one, this focuses more on the acting of the stellar cast and the thriller elements in the film.

“The Words” will be out in theaters on September 7.
