The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the most anticipated role playing games on PC and next-gen consoles, and for good reason.

Developer CD Projekt RED has made a name for itself through the solid gameplay experience and thrilling storylines it offered in its Witcher series, based on the fantasy novels authored by Polish writer Andrjez Sapkowski.

Even though the Polish author has casually expressed his contempt for video games as a means to convey a story, the devs did a pretty good job, as far as video games go, and earned the love of many fans of the role playing genre.

As such, the world is pretty hyped-up in regards to the next installment in the Witcher series. The developers have so far kept a tight lid on gameplay footage from the title, but they plan to make up for it by the studio’s big event, scheduled for next week, when they intend to make several big reveals.

The upcoming CD Projekt RED & GOG.com Summer Conference, scheduled to take place on June 5, 2014, starting at 6:00 PM GMT, will deliver a brand new gameplay trailer for The Wither 3: Wild Hunt, as well as the pre-order details for the game, in addition to some other announcements, such as a new project from GOG.com and a new addition to the Witcherverse, which will surely come as a pleasant surprise for fans of the exploits of Geralt of Rivia.

The GOG.com worldwide distribution service has some new and exciting plans, and the Witcher-fest is the perfect place to deliver them.

The entire exclusive online event will be livestreamed on the the GOG.com website and on the Witcher website, and the event trailer summarizes all that is to happen.

The Witcher 3 is offering a vast open world for players to explore, and features several changes to the combat system. In addition to this, it will be the last game to star Geralt as the main protagonist of the adventure, and players will have to assist him in dealing with one of the most decisive events of his past.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming out sometime in February of 2015, for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.

Although the title’s release window was delayed from its original intended target, CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwinski has assured gamers that the release date is now set in stone, and it was decided after the team was certain regarding how much additional time they would need in order to make sure that they can provide a satisfying experience for everyone.
