It seems that normal web cameras are no longer so attractive for the gadget-passionate people, and that's why more and more strange and unusual devices of this type are being launched. And one of the strangest (but also one of the most useful) webcams is the USB Web Cam With Telescope developed by Brando Workshop.

This peculiar device features a 7*18 telescope, which permits the user to focus distant objects quite clearly (the focus is 50mm to infinity adjustable) and obtain a very good photo, but also a mini-tripod for, very useful for adjusting the image angle. The USB Web Cam With Telescope has been fitted with a 480K CMOS sensor, and sports a 800 x 600 VGA resolution, as well as frame rates of up to 30fps at 320x240, up to 15fps at 640x480.

This very special webcam doesn't take up a lot of space, as it measures just 80x32x33mm, while the telescope measures 69x28x33mm, and it has a lot of other interesting features, as for example the built-in image e-mail, the manual focus and the snapshot button for image capture. The USB Web Cam With Telescope developed by Brando Workshop costs around 26 dollars, and it could prove to be a very interesting thing to have, especially if you're using such devices on an extensive scale.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
