14 DAY TRIAL // A new trailer for what promises to be this summer's most insane comedy, “The Watch,” has just dropped and, unlike previously released footage, it shows a bit more of the main characters and their motivation in starting the neighborhood watch.
This was actually the initial title of the film, but it was changed to just “The Watch” in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin shooting.
Starring Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and Richard Ayoade, the film tells the story of four frustrated men who start the neighborhood watch out of purely selfish reasons, only to discover that the fate of humanity lies entirely in their hands.
The trailers released so far focused more on the alien invasion, but this one also offers more footage of the guys in action, which is what makes it the best so far.
If you like what you see, keep an eye out for this comedy in theaters: it'll be out on July 27.
