The development team at Telltale Games announces that the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two has been officially delayed in Ireland, New Zeeland and Russian on home consoles, but has not yet offered any possible date for its release.

On the official forums for the series, the company explains that, “We can confirm that The Walking Dead: Season Two will be coming to Russia and New Zealand on PlayStation 3 and to Ireland, Russia, and New Zealand on Xbox 360.”

The company adds, “A late-breaking issue with ratings submission in these countries meant the season premiere could not coincide with other regions, but rest assured they’ll have Season Two early in the new year.”

It’s unclear whether Telltale Games has plans to modify the game in any way in order to make sure that it gets launched in Ireland, Russia and New Zeeland.

The Walking Dead series deals with undead, horror moments, quite a bit of blood and plenty of emotion, all of which might not be safe for some audience members.

The series uses a stylized graphics look and does not aim for realism, but Australia asked Telltale Games to make some changes to the first season of the game.

The studio has said that the second season of The Walking Dead will focus on the character of Clementine and the choices that she has to make in order to survive in the post-apocalyptic world after she was left without her support group.

The first episode, called All that Remains, has been well received by both critics and the fan community.

Telltale Games is also currently working on The Wolf Among Us, which will soon get its second episode, and on series based on Borderlands and on Game of Thrones, both of which are expected to launch in 2014.
