A green lifestyle also means that one needs to exercise, at least every once in a while.

Thanks to Lil Wayne, the people in the US who happen to like skating and who are also preoccupied with environmental protection can now practice their skills in an eco-skate park which has only recently opened in New Orleans.

Apparently, the rapper chose to financially support the building of this park in this part of the US because it is here where he grew up, and because about one and a half years ago he was inspired by a 9-year-old boy to take up skating himself.

“I just want to help out my city, help out the people and the kids, give them something to do, something they haven't done before,” Lil Wayne told members of the press.

Just for the record, this skate park is made worthy of the “environmentally-friendly” label by the fact that it's construction involved using only 100% recyclable concrete.

Moreover, it is powered by a tracking solar array, which is the first of its kind on the Gulf Coast.
