The Toshiba name is not that big in the cellphone and smart phone playground. Still, that doesn't stop them from making good products. The interesting features and the good looks are some of the stuff that models like G900 and G500 have.

But, Toshiba's story doesn't end here. They promise more cool stuff and the G910 and the G920 are not a secret anymore. The models are clamshell smart phones and they follow the steps of their "ancestor", the G900 (even if this model was a slider).

The two models will be pretty similar, as the specs for both of them match pretty well. Equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard, both G910 and G920 have tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 devices with WCDMA, WiFi and Bluetooth. Both models have dual cameras (a rear camera with flash and a front camera for video calls). But still, why are there two models with the same specs? Is the color different? No, everything is the same, except one thing: the G920 will have software-based GPS.

That could have been it with the information, but no... Toshiba let out some more. The battery that will fuel the gadgets will be a 1320 mAh Li-ion battery. The smart phones will also feature a microSD memory card slot, plus the operating system will remain Windows Mobile 6.

The details go further and we learn that the models will be launched a few months away one from the other. The G920 will be released in the first quarter of 2008. The G910 model will be released somewhere in the last quarter of the next year.

But, there are also leads about other models that Toshiba keeps in its sleeve. The G930 is due to be out in the late third quarter of the next year, or in the early last quarter. This model is possible to feature a full QWERTY keyboard.

Also, probably in February 2008, Toshiba will launch the G800 model that will be a stylus operated touchscreen phone. For 2008, Toshiba also planned to launch other models, such as the G720, the G710 or the G450.
