Diablo II feeling and interesting graphics

Titan Quest, a RPG which promises a lot of interesting innovations, now has an official trailer. This in focused mainly on the combat scenes, and the producers decided to offer a preview of what seems to be the most interesting element of the entire game, the spells.

From the point of view of the feeling, the resemblance to Diablo II is quite striking, even if the trailer's hero seems to come out of the movie Spartacus. The gaming options during the fight are similar to what we've seen in Diablo II, with the only exception of a camera which allows the action to be viewed from every angle and which makes everything much more interesting.

The combat scenes present the hero handling with similar accuracy the bow and the sword, so it seems that we've got a multivalent character, that doesn't need to develop especially one of his skills.

The spells are quite spectacular, especially those in which the hero can grow much bigger than his normal size in order to stand a chance against a monster initially three times bigger. The 3D effects clearly contribute to the most interesting spells, even if some of them are quite similar to what we've seen in other RPGs.

Even if the trailer doesn't promise anything and doesn't offer any details regarding the game's story or locations, it manages to be exciting enough in order to make us look forward to the final version of the game.
