After Quanta Computer which is the most important contract computer manufacturer in the world posted strong revenues for the past month, two other Asian hardware manufacturing companies, Lite-On and Delta, posted increased revenues too, showing the world that the Taiwan based computer industry is doing its business as usual.

Lite-On Technology and Delta Electronics, two of the most important manufacturers of power supply units, PSUs for short, posted strong revenues in September and even record setting figures in the case of Lite-On. According to the news site digitimes, Lite-On stated that its consolidated business model offered revenues of $543 million which represent a six percent ascending trend and around a 30 percent increase on year. The same hardware manufacturing company also said that its most important businesses of building power supply units and LEDs grew by 69 and 15 percent respectively when compared with the same time period a year ago.

During the third quarter of the year, Lite-On's revenues went up with 33 percent over the previous year, while the total revenues for the first three quarters combined also went up by 3.6 percent on year. The second biggest Taiwanese company active in the power supply design and manufacture business also reported high consolidated revenues during the past month even if a slight descending trend of 0.6 percent was registered.

Overall, Delta Electronics registered an ascending trend of over 20 percent over the same time frame during the last year even if the lower average selling prices for several of its core hardware components contributed to the slight decline in revenues.

Even on the random access memory market segment things are looking good for some companies as Transcend posted high sales, reporting that its earnings during the third quarter of 2007 managed to jump over the total revenues registered in 2006. As the memory manufacturer also stated that its production ratio between DRAM and NAND flash memory was stabilized at 4:6, we can see a slight reduction in the quantity of flash memory chips and an increase in the production of computer random access memory modules that are enjoying a high demand right now.
