For little girls?

Why on earth would someone think to make a stripper shoe-like phone? What sick mind is behind such an idea?

From my point of view, the one that did this needs a serious check from a psychiatrist and if he/she doesn't have the money to do it, the benevolent people in his/her town should let him draw a check from the community chest because they will probably not find another more worthy cause for those money.

The company that has released it on the market is Summit Financial Product Inc. and the name of the "toy" is YOUniverse Funk Fone, a device which should probably prepare your little girl for the long nights dancing in a strip bar by giving her a piece of that experience in advance.

However, this thing could be also seen as a disco shoe and for the parents that got to spend a lot of nights in the disco around the 70s, this probably is the perfect gift to give their child. This way, the kids will have the opportunity to better grasp what the 70s meant for their parents and if they won't get the overall picture, at least a little bit of that period in time will always be around, just in case.

Whatever this gadget wants to be, I guess its destiny is to stay around the store shelves for a few weeks and after being totally ignored by everybody or, even worse, dissed by every kid on the block because it doesn't have transformer capabilities, it will silently return were its place was in the first place: in a box, back in storage.

There is a thing that bugs me even if my wish will be fulfilled: the damn thing is also for sale on the Internet for 19.99 $ and I suppose those guys don't have a storage area for them on their FTP server or even boxes to put the thing away.

You wonder why I am so enraged about this device? You might think this is kind of cute (due to your disco experiences) but I never lived around to witness what was happening then and the only thing that crosses my mind when I look at this ugly device is a stripper on a dancing pole.

You might call me sick but I sure ain't as sick as those guys that thought about this Funk Fone in the first place.
