Here it is. The classy looking Solar Mobile Charger for all the highly talkative ladies with almost drained mobile phone batteries out there.

Yes, from a woman's point of view, this "thing" may actually look pretty good if she prefers the looks of sandwich makers but, and that is what my brain is still striving to understand, why in the god's name would a company name a device the "Solar Mobile Charger", with a hyphen on the Mobile, when the damn thing weighs around 4 kilos?

Not only that it has the weight of a car battery but you will also have a charger measuring "only" 34 x 26 x 26 cm. At that size, I wonder what purse would be large enough so the "lucky" woman will be able to carry it around in case the cellphone gets totally drained of power or in case her MP3 player will get all energy needy.

However, even if it would get you squashed to a midget size in case you store it on a shelf and it falls down on your head (I know it sounds pretty scary but it could happen :) ), there are some good things about it anyway.

You can charge your devices (mobile phones or MP3 players) with the help of the friendly solar power, via a car DC power source or even through an AC outlet.

Enough choices to get you out of trouble wherever you may be at any given time during your future trips around the globe.

The "Thing", as I decided to call it, provides you with Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson phone adapters and this fact together with a deep belief everything eco-friendly is good, could convince you to pay the 18.50 $ its manufacturers decided to charge for it, a reasonable price considering the lots of options you get if you come in need of a charger for your mobile device.

Only if it were a little smaller!
