News from the Buckingham Palace inform us that the Queen just lost one of her corgis, although no explanation has yet been provided with respect to why the animal passed away.

If the name sounds familiar, this is probably because this pooch recently starred in a sketch intended for the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

In this particular sketch, James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, arrives at the Palace to receive strictly confidential instructions from the Queen, and finally walks down a red carped with the latter and her three pets.

Sources inform us that, not very long ago, one other of the Queen's dogs – Cider – passed away, so now only Willow and Holly, the other two royal pets – remain to live in the Buckingham Palace.
