14 DAY TRIAL // In light of the unfortunate events that affected PlayStation Network, Sony announced it has extended its PlayStation Store Flash Sale and Holiday Sale.
Although many PlayStation owners are still unable to log in to PSN, there’s still time to grab the deal they want, and with a little bit of luck a miracle might happen.
PlayStation Network has been under DDoS attack for more than 12 hours on Christmas day and hasn’t fully recovered yet. Sony offers a few temporary solutions that require console owners to change network settings or reboot their PlayStation, but they only work for some.
Many PlayStation owners only recently managed to log in to PSN, while some are still struggling to connect to PlayStation Network. It order to make things right for those who were unable to take advantage of Sony’s sales that have been running for a few days now, the Japanese company has decided to extend them.
According to Sony, its decision to extend these sales was based on popular demand, so console gamers who are now able to connect to PlayStation Network will now be able to take advantage of either of the two sales running on Store.
Both sales have been extended for North American accounts
That being said, Sony announced that the Flash Sale would be extended until 12:00pm Pacific Time on December 31, and the Holiday Sale until 12:00pm Pacific Time on January 6.
The Holiday Sale has another set of popular titles at decent discounts, including Grand Theft Auto 5, Alien Isolation, Battlefield 4 and a lot more.
