As you might have read in one of our articles from a few weeks ago, the P565 was announced initially for October and, even if it arrived with a noticeable delay, in the end, Asus kept its word and delivered this pretty extraordinary device. Comparing it with any other PDA phones available now, you will find it easily outmatches all competitors.

If we were to analyze strictly the design, we wouldn't be too impressed for it doesn't really look like much, but once we start it up and flip through its features, simply no adjectives are good enough for it. The first thing that catches the eye is the 800Mhz processor, the fastest one ever created and which makes this mobile great for multitasking.

Coming to add its own personal feature, only available for Asus, is the Gliding system – a new touch-responsive user interface that makes this phone really fast and, most important of all, very easy to move around from one task to another with only one flick. Applications such as Anytime Launcher, Multi-Home, EziPhoto or EziMusic are all there simultaneously for you to sail through them with one simple touch of a button.

Also, this phone will surely surprise regarding the graphical abilities it comes with. Equipped with a high resolution (480x640 pixel) 2.8'' TFT, 65K color, VGA touchscreen and a 3.0 Megapixel autofocus camera, it makes really nice, even outstanding, photos or videos. The clarity level that this device has come to is simply unheard of before.

Running on the Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, it is most useful for businessmen, who can benefit of the Microsoft Office Mobile and business card recognition program in their line of work. Other useful features include Voice Commander, Windows Live, MSN, Push Email and Microsoft's applications Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Even if it was introduced a few days ago, unfortunately, there's still no information regarding the price or the date when it will be available for ordering or in stores.
