The McDonald's burger has been purchased in 1999, and it looks about the same

A man has kept a hamburger for 14 years and it still looks as good as new. This might make the McDonald's burger the oldest intact one in the world.

According to Daily Mail, David Whipple bought the meal at McDonald's in 1999, and he has the receipt to prove that.

He intended to run an experiment and use the burger to demonstrate how enzymes work but forgot about it.

“It ended up in a paper sack in the original sack with the receipt in my coat pocket tossed in the back of my truck and it sat there for, I don't know, two or three months,” he recalls.

The coat was then stored away, and he first realized he still had the hamburger two years later, after he moved and used the coat again. As you can see, the burger looks almost as good as new, while the salad and pickles have disintegrated.
