Seeing the awesome potential of Internet radio, Tivoli have been busy lately and the result of their efforts has materialized into a new top-drawer radio, codenamed NetWorks. If you're familiar with Tivoli's work so far you're surely not expecting anything cheap and definitely nothing of questionable quality; the Tivoli NetWorks is worthy of the richest settings in any décor. If you're in a spending mood, this Internet and FM radio might slip on your Christmas list; the prices, though, are not for your monthly shopping.

The Tivoli NetWorks comes in several real wood veneers and has a hand-crafted cabinet, boasting luxury and a refined style to match yours. Available in cherry, walnut, and wenge with gold grilles, the NetWorks is sure to please any customer.

There are radios and then there are Internet radios, which combine the Ethernet connectivity with terrestrial radio, offering you a most comprehensive contact with your local news and sports while at the same time keeping you in touch with the world news and planetary music. You get 5 favorite station presets and a huge 200-station memory, letting you quickly and effortlessly access your preferred content.

Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity will allow you to hook up to the computers in your network, if you have permission, and access the shared music files on them. The stereo versions also sport balance control between the two speakers, each loaded with 3.5” drivers and a remote control (battery included).

The backlit blue LCD with white lettering is standard, and so is the ambient light sensor, providing automatic contrast and illumination for your comfort. Additionally, a USB port is available and inside the box you'll find a 1.5' USB cable. The basic model sets you back $600 while the one with FM tuner and DAB functionality will drain $650 from your budget. And if you want the stereo models, add $100 for any version. Available here, with no interest financing.
