14 DAY TRIAL // According to an independent Information Security Study performed by TheInfoPro, ArcSight Enterprise Security Management (ESM) software is the most prevalent technology implemented by the vast majority of the Fortune 1,000 companies. TheInfoPro metrics indicate that the Cupertino-based ArcSight is the preferred provider of products on the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) market. In this context, TheInfoPro revealed that ArcSight ESM are either in evaluation process, deployed or on the verge of implementation within the companies surveyed.
"For the second 'Wave' study in a row, ArcSight was named the lead SIEM vendor," said Phil Lerner, Managing Director of TIP's Information Security Practice. "The fact that so many Fortune 1000 Enterprises reported having ArcSight ESM in-use, or are considering its solutions for new projects, illustrates that ArcSight is the market leader for ESM solutions."
The TIP Heat Index also revealed participants' preferences in relation to the Information Security technologies in 2006. In this regard, ArcSight ESM bested similar solutions from Cisco, Microsoft and RSA.
