Concept phones are so nice because designers actually get to use their imagination instead of coming up with something functional and practical, which sometimes can be boring.

While most of these concepts will never become an actual product, it's great to see how mobile phones of the future could look like.

Handsets phones get smaller and slimmer, but - for some people - they're still not that convenient to carry around. If carrying a mobile phone in your pocket or bag seems inconvenient, then wearing it on your wrist might be just what you're looking for.

Tao Ma has thought of the perfect solution for this and designed a bracelet that works as a mobile phone. Since there's no display or the regular keypad/buttons, it's pretty obvious that users won't be able to send or receive messages with this handset.

The bracelet phone will vibrate slightly when there's an incoming call, and one can easily take it off from the wrist to answer. The concept is so special because of its simplicity and even though compromises had to be made (including giving up the display and placing the controls on the inner side), the idea is still quite interesting.

It comes with several buttons, including numbers, volume or hang up, but since they seem to be very small, it's hard to figure out how to use them. Since this can also be considered a fashion accessory, it's very likely that the ladies will be more thrilled by this concept phone.

Moreover, the bracelet also works as an MP3 player and features an earphone jack, which means that you can easily replace an iPod or other MP3 player with something that you can wear on your wrist, which also doubles as a stylish bracelet.
