It's time to take a break from classic point and click adventures

There are quite some titles out there using the name of the renowned detective as a hook and most of them really try to bring you an experience as close to the real thing as possible. I'm talking about all the classic point and click adventure games that were released - and you must have tried at least one of them to see that being Sherlock Holmes was not at all easy.

However, things are about to change a little bit, since Legacy Interactive has decided to turn the Sherlock Holmes into casual experience for everybody. The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes is presented as a "game of theft, espionage and murder", but the truth is that it's nothing more than your regular puzzle casual game - that kind you shouldn't play for more than one hour per day if you really love your eyes. Just joking.

However, the game is a bit different from other similar titles: for example, it is the first title officially licensed by the Conan Doyle Estate, meaning that together with the renowned detective, you'll get Watson, Inspector Lestrade and more than 100 other characters from the series. There are 16 cases for you to solve in the game and each of them has its own storyline revealing an overall one, so things may not be as "casual" as one would be tempted to believe first.

The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes is already available for purchase via the official Legacy Games website and only costs $19.95. So, if you're planning to spend your time together with the world's best known detective and solve over 100 mind-bending puzzles (like find the difference, hidden object, Sudoku or picture memory) while exploring 40 historically accurate locations around Victorian London, The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes is the title you need.
