It's enough to say Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman, Christina Ricci, Blair Underwood, Wayne Brady and Mark Hamill to understand that The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, the third chapter in the popular trilogy, is going to be a great title to enjoy on all consoles: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and DS.

With this all-star voice cast we'll also receive the final of the trilogy where an unlikely alliance arises between Spyro and Cynder, his former enemy. Spyro will have to unlock the powers of the purple dragon within him and stop the Dark Master and his evil plans to take over the world.

"Spyro has grown up a lot since his debut, and players are going to notice advanced gameplay, character design and story lines in Dawn of the Dragon," said Al Simone, senior vice president, Global Marketing for Sierra Entertainment. "The game takes some exciting twists and turns - fans of the series and newcomers alike will experience non-stop fun, a renewed sense of intensity and the type of challenging adventure only Spyro can overcome."

Unlike the other titles in the series, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon brings two new features, such as flying ability for our main character and a co-op feature that allows players to complete the game by playing as Spyro or Cynder - which automatically means a lot more freedom when it comes to exploring the world and, of course, playing the game.

Developed by Etranges Libellules, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon will ship this fall and it is seems that Vivendi Games Mobile is also working on the mobile version of the game. And, as you can imagine already, with such big names signed for the voice acting, the trilogy will have an absolute storm ending.
