Those of you who want a sleek and slim tablet don’t have to pay premium anymore, as more and more white box slate vendors are taking up this form factor, offering it at decent rates.

It’s the case of the Kiano Slim Tab 8 which comes featuring a 7.2 mm / 0.2 inches frame and weighs as little as 271 g / 0.59 lbs.

The tablet offers a 7.85-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 76 pixels and draws power from a dual-core Allwinner A23 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and combined with 1GB of internal memory plus 8GB of internal memory (which is expandable).

Like the Slim Tab 8 also has two cameras (2MP main camera and 0.3MP in front), a pretty scant 3000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 out of the box.

In terms of specifications, there’s nothing that really stands out, except for the slate’s thin and light design, which might be reason enough to jump onboard of with this model. Pricing is another standout, as the product ships for only $130 / €95.
